We pay people to eat plants in-place of eating animals.
We promote veganism and plant-based diets through positivity and action orientated interventions.
We are a registered non-profit, a limited company by guarantee (more on this below), registered in the United Kingdom under the number: 837925.
Our pilot project, The Vegan Challenge, pays omnivores a flat fee (either direct or to charity on their behalf) in exchange for going Vegan for a week. This is one project amongst many out-reach projects we have planned.
The philosophy is that we can save more lives this way, instead of spending money on information campaigns like everyone else.
Who are we?

Hi, I’m Callum and I founded Plant Seeds. I care a lot about animals, and the planet too. For many years I’ve given away a set percentage of my income to charitable causes. I decided more recently that it was more sustainable for me on a personal level to keep that giving going by creating change around me via direct giving.
I founded Plant Seeds because I wanted to see a positivity and action orientated organisation promoting vegan diets. I believe in promoting transformational shifts, not bigger cages.
The ultimate goal is saving many animals from miserable fates.
Structure, Transparancy and Funding
Founded in late 2023, in early 2025 we have incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. This non-profit structure requires all surplus generated to be re-invested in the organisation, no dividends can be paid and no profit can be made for the founders. This legal structure is used by many well known registered charities such as Oxfam and Cancer Research UK alongside being registered with the charity commission – registering is our long-term goal.
In 2024 our activities were entirely funded by myself, providing ~£2500 to Plant Seeds to get the ball rolling. Going forward I will continue to donate ~10% of my net salary to Plant Seeds. Now that we are registered we will be in the place to begin accepting donations and expanding the reach of Plant Seeds.
We look to build Plant Seeds into an effective and novel organisation tackling the dietary and animal crises. To do so I intend to build out a charitable organisation with financial best practice mind, spending the majority of our income on encouraging people to eat plant-based (60-80%), with the remainder spent on adminstration, management and fundraising.
